Instrument transformers are installed in AC circuits to convert large high-voltage currents into small low-voltage currents to conduct measurements. There are mainly two types of instrument transformers: voltage transformers (VTs) and current transformers (CTs). These instrument transformers are used in circuits of voltmeters, ammeters, electricity meters, relays, etc.

    Oil-filled and hermetically sealed construction. The capacitor unit will be provided with metallic bellow type oil volume adjusting device at the top.
  • Voltage Transformer
    Completly oil-filled and hermetically sealed construction with metallic bellow type oil volume adjusting device at the top.
  • Gas Insulated Voltage Transformer
    Gas Insulated Voltage Transformers (Gas-VTs) are disigned to be light, compact and furthermore can be connected to GISs in horizontal, vertical or inverted position.
