Launch of Remote Maintenance Services for Electrical Equipment —A cloud-based integrated maintenance platform centered on remote monitoring and diagnostics—

Nissin Electric Co., Ltd. has launched Remote Maintenance Services for Electrical Equipment, a cloud-based integrated maintenance platform that reduces the maintenance costs for electrical equipment and helps to improve its reliability.
This set of services collects information from sensors installed in electrical equipment via IoT devices and sends it to the Nissin Electric Cloud System, enabling the visualization of operating information as well as preventive maintenance through analysis and diagnosis. Customers can remotely check the status of their equipment, which reduces the time and cost of on-site work while ensuring stable operation of the equipment. The Nissin Electric Cloud System and IoT device connections use a platform that is backed by advanced security certifications, ensuring safety and reliability.
Nissin Electric aims to generate annual sales of 2.35 billion yen from these services by FY2030.

  1. Visualization of Operational Information
    Various types of operational information related to electrical equipment are visualized using IoT technology. A portal allows customers to check the information at any time.

    • Data collection and visualization service
      Data from various sensors installed on the site is collected in the Nissin Electric Cloud System and shown in lists and graphs.
    • Remote monitoring service
      The operating status can be monitored from the customer’s computer, even from remote locations such as the head office and business trip locations.
    • Equipment information visualization service
      The service includes centralized management of various types of information such as drawings, instruction manuals, construction history, maintenance results, and test reports for the delivered equipment.

     

  2. Preventive Maintenance through Analysis and Diagnosis
    The service also includes analysis and diagnosis related to preventive maintenance, leveraging accumulated big data. Identifying signs of failure in advance and performing maintenance at the optimal time, it reduces the risk of operational downtime caused by sudden breakdowns.

    • Fault prediction and diagnosis service
      The service analyzes collected data and provides diagnostic reports on deterioration status and signs of failure.

     

  3. 24-hour-a-day Support Center
    In the event of an anomaly, a 24-hour-a-day support center will remotely access the site to assess the situation and respond promptly. This helps to reduce the time and cost burden associated with providing engineers and on-site work.
