Shunt Reactor

Shunt reactors are connected in parallel to the power grid. They supply the necessary lagging reactive power to compensate for the leading reactive power (earth capacity of the system) to help stabilize the system voltage.

Features

Since the launch of production of oil-insulated shunt reactors in 1960, we have maintained the top share in Japan and have built an outstanding track record in delivery to overseas markets. Recently, there have been growing needs than ever before due to the expanded use of renewable energy.

1. Supporting different voltages and capacities

Our products support a wide range of voltages and capacities.

2. Low loss, low noise, and low vibration

The use of a radial core with a high space factor as the iron core achieves low loss, low noise, and low vibration.
